Reputation as behaviour, not profile polish
What changes when a team stops treating personal brand as a profile exercise.
Ask a senior team about personal brand and you will usually get one of two reactions: polite scepticism, or a request for better headshots. Both come from the same assumption, that reputation is something you put on a profile.
Why profile polish does not move anything
A sharper profile helps people find you. It does very little to change what they think once they have. That judgement is formed by behaviour: the views people stand behind, the moments they choose to show up, and how consistent they are when the stakes are high.
Reputation is what people experience, not what they read about you.
What changes in the room
When a team starts treating reputation as behaviour, the conversation shifts from self-promotion to judgement. People who were cautious about visibility, often rightly so, find a version of it they can stand behind. And the business gains a shared voice without flattening the individuals in it.
This is the thinking behind our Workshops: turning the expertise inside your business into a shared external voice.
